Amirreza Dolatpour Fathkouhi

I am a Computer Science Ph.D. student at the University of Virginia working at the intersection of AI and healthcare. Researching under Prof. Heman Shakeri at the Center for Diabetes Technology, I develop interpretable foundation models for time-series analysis.

My work focuses on solving critical data challenges in Type 1 Diabetes, such as imputation and counterfactual inference, for use in real-world clinical settings. I aim to create robust, interpretable machine learning systems that can be reliably deployed in healthcare applications where accuracy and transparency are paramount.
